Type of Wax

All of our products use 100% Soy Wax and are hand-poured individually. Each candle will not look exactly the same but will perform the same. Each candle is poured with love and care and made specifically for you! This wax takes time to  “work”. Because it is a natural wax it doesn’t give off the best scent immediately. All Joyous Scents Products MUST cure for a minimum of fourteen days before being available for purchase. Note: wax melts cure time is usually shorter (5-7 days). Soy wax may sometimes have a lumpy surface after burning but no worries, that's one of the special characteristics about soy and how you can know it is all natural.

Prices

The price of soy has increased over the past year and our prices are priced accordingly. Please do not compare our prices to BBW or any other candle company. Our prices are what they are because of the time put into creating each product by hand, along with creating our own labels, etc.

Candles

We now offer only 8.5 oz and 4.5 oz candles. Each candle is single handedly poured one at a time. We currently offer five scents from our signature "Joy" line. Each scent was name according to a phrase that ties into the scent along with what we believe to represent joy and happiness (with the exception of one). We expect to offer larger size candles in the future as well as limited edition seasonal scents.

Wax Melts

We offers wax melts that come in clamshells that weigh 2.75 oz. Also, in the scents from our signature "Joy" line. We expect to offer limited edition "special" melts and limited time seasonal scents.

Wicks 

All candles are made with cotton wicks that extinguish themselves once wax is low. Note: Always make sure to take safety precautions when dealing with open flames because it is still a hazard . Be sure to always burn candle within sight. These wicks tend to “curl” while burning so keep in mind to always trim wick before each burn. Another characteristic of these cotton wicks, are there tendency to "mushroom". Mushrooming isn't very appealing but it does not affect the quality of the candle. If you trim your wick regularly and not burn for longer periods of time than what's recommended, the mushrooming will stay at a minimum.

Fragrance oils 

All of our candles and wax melts are made with fragrance oils that gives off a great hot throw and cold throw with all of our products. These oils are non toxic and burns clean while in candles.

Signature "Joy" Line Scents

I'm Just Peachy- Peach scented candle with notes of  Mandarin, Raspberry, Coconut, Peach, Plum, Violet, Vanilla, and Sugar.

Jamaican Me Happy- Tropical scented candle with notes of Orange, Apple, Pineapple, Jasmine, Honeydew Melon, Coconut, Rum, and Vanilla.

Baby Bliss- Baby powder scented candle with notes of Ozone, Orange Rose, Orange Blossom, Violet, Powder, and Cedar.

White Sage and Lavender- Clean, herbal scented candle with notes of Lavender, Camphor, Chamomile, Sage, Rosemary, Sandalwood, and Cedarwood.

Midnight Pleasure- Masculine scented candle with notes of Bergamot, Orange Zest, Aromatic, Bourbon Accord, Clove Leaf, Peppercorn Lavender, Amberwood, leather, woody, and smooth musks.
